Diné Hózhó invites participants to discover how Christ-centered service is rooted in humility, partnership, and a willingness to learn. Serving alongside the Navajo church and community, participants experience what it means to encourage the work God is already doing while growing in their own understanding of faithful, healthy ministry.

What is Diné Hózhó?
The Navajo Nation is rich in history, culture, and resilience, yet many communities continue to experience significant spiritual and practical challenges. Through a long-standing partnership with the local church, Diné Hózhó in Christ provides opportunities to encourage and strengthen ministry already taking place. Rather than arriving with the mindset of solving problems, participants learn to recognize and support the work God is faithfully accomplishing through His people.
Throughout the week, participants serve alongside local believers through Vacation Bible School, community outreach, practical projects, and shared fellowship. Just as important as the work itself is the opportunity to learn from those who call the Navajo Nation home. Guided conversations, cultural experiences, and intentional reflection help participants better understand how humility, relationship, and partnership contribute to healthy, long-term ministry.
Diné Hózhó in Christ isn't simply about completing projects. It's about developing a biblical understanding of service. Participants return home with a deeper appreciation for the local church, greater confidence in building relationships across cultures, and a renewed commitment to serving others with humility, dignity, and respect. The lessons learned extend far beyond one week, shaping how we serve our own churches, neighborhoods, and communities.
