Helping Bible Class Groups Grow Through Meaningful Mission Experiences

HarvestCall is committed to helping Bible class groups cultivate a lifelong vision for proclaiming Christ and serving others. Our short-term mission opportunities are intentionally designed to help young people move beyond simply doing things for people to learning how to serve alongside them. Through meaningful partnerships and guided reflection, students discover what healthy Christ-centered ministry looks like in practice; applying Helping Without Hurting principles, seeing others through Christ's eyes, engaging with humility across cultures, and serving alongside local churches in ways that strengthen rather than replace their ministry. Each experience provides a unique setting to develop these convictions while growing together as disciples of Jesus.

More Than a Mission Trip

A week can do more than accomplish projects—it can reshape how a group sees people, service, and God's work in the world. Whether your Bible class is serving alongside the Navajo church, learning principles of healthy community development, or partnering in urban gospel ministry, each experience is designed to strengthen discipleship while encouraging the long-term work of the local church.

Continue the Journey at Home

Your experience doesn't end when you return home.

To help Bible class groups continue learning and growing together, HarvestCall provides each group with Helping Without Hurting in Short-Term Missions workbooks. Designed to be used both before and after your trip, the workbook helps prepare participants for healthy, Christ-centered service while providing practical tools to reflect on the experience and continue applying what they've learned long after returning home.

The workbook includes:

  • Pre-trip discussion guides to prepare your group before serving.
  • Post-trip reflection questions to help process what God taught you through the experience.
  • Helping Without Hurting principles for serving others with wisdom, humility, and dignity.
  • Practical ideas for engaging your own community through healthy, relationship-centered ministry.
  • Next steps for continued growth, including opportunities to continue your Journey of Learning through future HarvestCall experiences.
