Most Christians desire to love their Muslim neighbors well, yet many feel unsure where to begin. Salaam Week is designed to replace uncertainty with understanding by creating a guided environment where participants learn to engage Muslims with humility, confidence, and gospel hope. Through shared experiences, attentive listening, meaningful conversations, and biblical reflection, you'll discover that faithful witness begins by listening well and loving people as Christ does.
“Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the bet use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:5-6

What is Salaam Week?
Muslims are among the fastest-growing religious communities in North America, and for many Christians they remain one of the least understood. Fear, uncertainty, or simply lack of exposure often keeps believers from engaging neighbors whom God has already placed in their communities. Salaam Week helps bridge that gap by providing biblical teaching, practical experience, and guided reflection that equips participants to engage with greater wisdom, humility, and love.
Over several days, participants step into Muslim communities through carefully curated experiences that make cross-cultural engagement approachable and meaningful. Share meals, explore neighborhoods and markets, visit a mosque, hear firsthand perspectives, and build genuine relationships while processing each experience together through guided discussion and biblical reflection. What might seem unfamiliar at first becomes an opportunity to listen, learn, and grow.
Salaam Week isn't about becoming an expert on Islam. It's about becoming better prepared to love your Muslim neighbors as followers of Jesus. Participants return home with greater cultural understanding, increased confidence for meaningful conversations, and a deeper appreciation for God's heart for all peoples—equipped to engage those around them with humility, hospitality, and the hope of the gospel.
Learn to understand your Muslim neighbors with humility and gospel hope.
Salaam Week is built on the conviction that faithful witness begins by listening well. As you learn to appreciate cultural differences, and engage with humility, you’ll become better prepared to reflect Christ’s love and share the hope of the gospel with your Muslim neighbors – both across the world and in your own community.
