The Bay City, Michigan Center buys and bags edible beans for local, national, and international use. Types of beans packaged at the Bay City Center include pinto, navy, light red kidney, and a small amount of a few others. Beans are grown locally and most are purchased within a 60 mile radius of Bay City.
The Bay City Center assembles and distributes bags of rice pilaf. The center also receives various Campbell products through the national HarvestCall organization. These products are distributed to local soup kitchens and food pantries.
Our sewing group meets once a week in the first four months of the year to sew items such as: quilts, layettes, dolls, balls, and a few kits of various kinds.
Thanks to all those who contribute to make this effort possible!
